One among ‘LIC Careers’ is the Appointment of LIC Agents in Sales & Marketing Department as DOs* i’e ‘Development Officers’ from Agents’ Quota. Now a days LIC gives you chance to progress your LIC careers’ in DO Cadre. Here LIC gives preference to it’s agents via reservation of 25% & age relaxation of 5 years. Note that the eligibility For this Appointment is that you should be Graduate from a recognized university & You have completed at least 5 years in your LIC Careers’ i’e agency with the Average FPI of 5 Lacs & Average Number of Lives 50, in last 3 Agency years. Maximum Age for Different categories are like this – General : 35 Years, OBC-40 Years, SC/ST-45 Years.
It also should be noted that all the terms & Conditions fall under the jurisdiction of LIC of INDIA that are subject to change any time. Let us also talk about the T&Cs of MDRT/COT/TOT clubs. There are two conditions to qualify MDRT –
- Income/Commission Basis : 10 Lacs (Excluding Bonus Commission)
- Premium Basis : 40 Lacs.
The duration is taken as Calendar year i’e from January to December.
1 COT = 3 x MDRT & 1 TOT = 3 x COT.
A person who in his LIC Career qualifies for MDRT for 5 years consecutively on Premium Basis, is able to secure his/her monthly income @ 1 Lakh p.m. for next 20 years. Important Note– MDRT => Million Dollar Round Table, a Global elite club of Life Insurance Agents, HQ @ Ney York, USA. The people who qualify for this club they get chance to attend the MDRT Club Conference Held Evry Year in USA. Your whole expense is borne by LIC of INDIA. Similarly COT => Court of Table & TOT => Top of Table are the two other clubs.
